JAJA’S AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING, Broadway
SOCIAL MEDIA PHOTOSHOOT CAMPAIGN
Braiding starts with connection. It’s a delicacy amongst many cultures around the world. However, there’s a distinct and richly potent community around African Hair Braiding in Harlem that truly signifies change, togetherness, survival, and most of all sisterhood. Every braider is unique, every style is different, and every head touched is beautiful before and after getting in the chair. But the feeling in process is pure and capturing that is important. Displaying connection in this sense exemplifies the power in which this story holds and why it’s necessary to understand and hear.
